The holidays have officially arrived, and all the good cheer, chaos, and frenzied shopping blew in like a cold winter wind. Now that the Thanksgiving holiday has passed, everyone is looking toward Christmas and busy with shopping, travel plans, and Christmas wish lists.
Schools such as yours may have the typical wish list requests of art supplies, whiteboard cleaner, chalk, whiteboard markers, computers, high-speed Internet, and network capability. Let's not forget, though, about those things that go beyond the typical and focus instead on those things that come from the heart. - The finances to make it possible to provide the best Christ-centered education to all students, regardless of the financial abilities of the their families
- The time to spend with individual students as they need it
- The assurance that each student can further his education in an environment where he feels safe, loved, and secure
- The ability to provide each student with the very best Christ-centered teaching that allows each student to master the material without compromising biblical truth
- The ability to reach that one student who seems so hard to reach, so misunderstood, so alone and hurting
- A place where each student can develop a strong faith in Christ
- The growth of lasting Christian relationships
- Social acceptance for those who were previously unaccepted
- Students not just gaining knowledge but developing true biblical character
- Students who have developed a love for God and others that is clearly visible by the choices they make
