The 3rd annual Switched-On® User Group Meeting was held from October 12-13 in San Antonio, Texas. This meeting was a great opportunity for Christian schools to gain unparalleled accessibility to the software, product developers, technical support team, and executives at Alpha Omega Publications®. In addition, the staff of AOP was excited to meet and serve the users of our curriculum.
Keynote speaker George Barna emphasized to school administrators and teachers that the most important thing they need to teach in their schools is a biblical worldview. For more on George Barna's speech at this year's User Group Meeting, read the article in this month's School Messenger titled "Sow Something Different."
Throughout the conference, many attendees expressed their gratitude to AOP for organizing this event. Here are just a few of their comments:
"The enthusiasm and passion was contagious and fun!"
"I want to say a great 'thank you' for opening with biblical content and Scripture, presenting with enthusiasm, and being extremely informative."
"The presentations gave practical information about issues we are facing."
"The facilitators listened to what the questions were and also the suggested remedies."
"The presenters allowed me to ask any question and were very accommodating in answering."
Plans are already underway for another Switched-On User Group Meeting in 2010. AOP will post the event details once they have been confirmed.
