How does School in a Box work? AOP brings the school to you through three different options, using the services of our accredited academy, Alpha Omega Academy (AOA). Whether you're starting from scratch, you already have some teachers hired, or you just need a curriculum, School in a Box has a ready-made educational option that's a perfect fit for you!
School in a Box: Option 1
Best for: Christian schools with no curriculum, limited classroom space, and limited or no teacher assistance.
Don't have qualified teachers or curriculum? Don't let that keep you from providing a Christian school! With School in a Box: Option 1, all you need to provide are students, a facility, and qualified on-site adult supervision. AOA will provide you with both the curriculum and the teacher support you need for grades K-12.
How does it work? Your students will be enrolled in Alpha Omega Academy. AOA will provide guidance counseling, administrative assistance, and a computer-based, Bible-centered curriculum for grades 3-12, along with a complete high school diploma program. Upon graduation, your students will receive a high school diploma from AOA. Grades K-2 will also be enrolled in AOA and use colorful, print-based curriculum that focuses on building a solid foundation in reading, phonics, and math.
School in a Box: Option 2
Best for: Christian schools with no curriculum and limited classroom space, needing assistance to teach grades 8-12.
Already have elementary teachers hired for your Christian school? Great! Still missing teachers for grades 7-12? No problem. School in a Box: Option 2 can help you fill in the gaps. With Option 2, all you need to provide are students, a facility, qualified adult supervision, and elementary and middle school teachers for grades K-6. AOA will provide you with the curriculum for grades K-12 and the teachers you need for grades 7-12.
How does it work? Your students in grades K-6 will enroll in your school. You purchase the AOP curriculum and provide the teachers. Your students in grades 7-12 will be enrolled in Alpha Omega Academy. If this sounds like you, then School in a Box: Option 3 is your answer! With Option 3, you provide the students, a facility, qualified adult supervision, and teachers. AOP will provide you with the curriculum for grades K-12, and AOA will provide your teachers with academic assistance.
How does it work? Your students in grades K-12 will enroll in your school. You purchase Christian-based AOP curriculum and provide the teachers. For grades K-2, AOP provides colorful, print-based curriculum designed to build a solid foundation in reading and math skills. For grades 3-12, AOP offers either Switched-On Schoolhouse, an interactive, computer-based curriculum, or traditional, print-based curriculum. A professional consultation, on-site training, and experienced AOA teacher support are also available.
