Designed for students in 11th and 12th grades, this course helps students integrate a Bible-based worldview into their own lives and decision making. Fully online, this 10-unit course compares the worldviews of the ancient Greeks and Hebrews and demonstrates how the values of these cultures continue to affect people today. Throughout the interactive lessons, students will not only learn the fundamental differences between a Christian and non-Christian worldview, but they will also learn to think and live with discernment and Christian conviction based on fundamental truths from the Bible.
As students approach their high school graduation, this elective will explain how living as a Christian is much more than belief but entails integrating a Bible-based Christian worldview into everyday decisions. Lessons throughout this course focus on the origin of Christian and non-Christian worldviews and how they continue to affect government, history, and mankind. Students will explore the topics of moral relativism and absolutism, the infallibility of Scripture, the sanctity of human life, Christian relationships, and their responsibilities as Christians.
While this course teaches traditional Christian values, the fully online environment reflects the digital age, with interactive multimedia to engage students in their own learning, built-in time management tools including a calendar and messaging system, and anytime access. Students who complete this course will have the skills and knowledge to think and live with discernment and conviction, and judge and assess any issue using a biblical model. Give your students the wisdom they need to practice and defend their faith as they move into college, society, and their future.
