What is a webinar? A webinar is a web-based seminar that involves a presentation or workshop conducted over the Internet with specific start and end times. In contrast to a webcast, which only transmits information in one direction, a webinar is an interactive web conference that allows audiences to communicate directly with the presenter. In most cases, the web host or the presenter speaks over a standard telephone line, while demonstrating information on his computer that the audience simultaneously sees "live" on their computer screens. Webinar participants can respond immediately over their own phones in "real time" with questions or comments.
At AOP, we offer a variety of webinars for new users who want to get more familiar with our products. In addition, we've developed a series of webinars for experienced Ignitia users who would like to grow their program. These new program enrichment webinars will be offered on an individual basis and will include topics such as dual enrollment, concurrent licensing, and how to expand course offerings through the use of electives. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, sign up now!
